	*A note from the artist.....* As you can see, the father/daughter drawings above are lovely in graphite, color, and sepia tone as well. I know it's hard sometimes to choose the one you prefer, but I will say that the vast majority of commissions that I do are in graphite pencil. When someone wants the drawing to have a nostalgic appearance, they always choose sepia tone for their pencil drawing. Color is often chosen for business applications when color adds to the planned schematic of a brochure or home decor, etc.

Graphite Pencil Drawings:

These are not quick sketches but rather, fully developed, realistic drawings of the subject. If you love
black and white like I do, you'll prefer these graphite drawings.

Colored Pencil Drawings:

With the soft applications of continuous color, my clay based pencils offer a blending of
hues with a level of detail that is rarely obtained in any liquid medium of artistic expression.

Sepia Tone Pencil Drawings:

       People the world over love the richness of sepia tone for pencil portrait drawings. Looking similar
       to graphite, sepia adds wonderfully browned earth tones to the paper's surface while offering a
       smooth, painterly look. If you've never owned a sepia tone drawing, I give you fair warning; it may
       become your favorite artistic medium.
